Last week in the library, the students talked about Groundhog Day and designed and created a structure to prevent the groundhog from seeing his shadow. They had a variety of materials to work with and came up with some great designs.
8th Grade Trip to C.A.T.A.
We had a great time touring C.A.T.A. today. They have 15 different programs our students can take advantage of next year when they go into high school here in Cullman County! If your student is interested in attending there next year, please make sure to visit the Open House on February 16th from 4:00-6:00 p.m.

The Book Blast is going strong as we approach these last few days of the event. The student with the highest dollar amount of contributions from each grade level will be awarded a $100 Book Blast shopping spree. On top of that, the student with the highest dollar amount of contributions in the school will be awarded an additional $100 shopping spree. So, one student winner will be going home with a total of $200 in Book Blast shopping sprees!
There's still time to register. You have until 11:59pm Friday night to get those contacts in. Every student who has 10 contacts or more will get the Treasure Map Prizes! And remember, you only have to enter 10 contacts per family, no matter how many students you have here at Harmony.
